Ghanaians and the family as well as friends and fans of the late Samuel Ataa Nyanyo Nmai have been pouring tributes to the late great personality.

The late Ataa Nmai aka "Uncle Sam", aka "The Fisherman", the founder of the Labadi Pleasure Beach will be 100 years in 2020 if he was alive.

Ataa Nmai aka "Uncle Sam"(1923 - 2007), is gone but never forgotten in Ghana Sports, Tourism, Arts & Culture and even Politics.

He was the founder of:

➤ The Labadi Pleasure Beach also known as "La Beach"

➤ The National Life Savers Association

He also initiated the Coastal Sea Defense Walls and loved to see people happy and having fun.

Most of his children taken to sports and now Europe based Lawrence Nyanyo Nmai is a world known fitness trainer and martial arts trainer. He is also a world kickboxing champion and president / founder of the Pro Fighting Factory.
