The President of Ghana tug of war Association (GHATOWA), Mr. Emmanuel Olla Williams has congratulated GCB bank for winning the tug of war event back to back at the Citi Business Olympics which took place at Eden Heights over the weekend.

According to Olla Williams aka the GASMAN, they have been monitoring the GCB team and really appreciate their strength and skill in pulling.

He said tug of war involves team work and he loves their team effort and attitude which makes them champions.

He expressed that GCB bank would be given a slot to represent Ghana at some international tournaments.

Mr. Emmanuel Olla Williams who was youth coordinator of the Ghana Olympic Committee noted that there are many kinds of sporting activities and there are many opportunities so a tug of war athlete can also experience travelling and competing at international level.

GCB bank grabbed gold in both men and women at the Tug of War event.UMB got silver and ECG took the bronze while Margins and Golden Exotics won silver and bronze respectively in the women's category.

The Citi Business Olympics involved a wide range of disciplines, including basketball, lawn tennis, seven-a-side football, tug of war, and lime-and-spoon race.
