President and founder of the Sports Achievers Club, Abigail Twumasiwaa Okanta made history at the AFCON 2021 in Cameroon when she was adjudged the Best Dressed Supporter and was presented with the Fan of the match award by Orange, sponsor of the Tournament.
Abigail who has returned home to Accra following the early exit of Ghana's Black Stars in the competition said she had a great time, but coach Milo and his charges could not deliver as expected.
She said hope is not lost as life goes on, but the Black Stars will bounce back.
She advised the Ghana Football Association to look for a charismatic coach who can lead the nation to the next FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
She thanked the Ministry of Youth and Sports and African Origin Travel and Tours for making it possible for her trip.
She urged her colleagues in the Ghana Sports Supporters Union to keep on cheering the Black Stars as they will certainly come back to winning ways at the right time.
Abigail has been to a couple of African Cup of Nations Tournaments and thinks Cameroon 2021 was a disaster for Ghana as they lost against the Comoros Island.
She advised footballers to be serious when representing the national team, because it is a honor and privilege.
