Accra Hearts Of Oak and Congolese defender Raddy Ovouka won two awards at the maiden edition of the Universal Premier League Awards which was held at the AMA Omanye Aba Hall in Accra on Saturday 4 September 2021.

He was named the best foreign player as well as best lateral defender of the year respectively.

He was in the same category with Fabio Gama from Brazil who plays for Kumasi Asante Kotoko...Raddy Ovouka surpased Gama with votes from football fans to emerged winner as the foreign base player of the season 2021

He was again nominated in another category as best lateral back alongside his teammate Fatawu Mohammed of (Accra Hearts of Oak), Dennis Korsah), Ebusua Dwarfs, Ibrahim lmoro (Kotoko) Eric Osei Bonsu(Great Olympics), and the Congolese player came out as winner.

Raddy Ovouka known by the fans in Ghana as “Congo Soldier “ is a marvelous player who is loved by football fans in Ghana due to his tactics in winning balls and overlapping for goals.

He contributed immensely to Accra Hearts of Oak's success the 2020 /2021 Ghana Premier League and the MTN FA CUP.

He is tipped to shine for the Phobians in their continental campaign.
