Rev. Dr. Lawrence Tetteh Prays For National Juvenile / Youth Boxers And Manyo Plange

Members of the newly formed national amateur juvenile and youth teams were on Friday blessed to become future champions and great stars by the world popular evangelist, Rev. Dr. Lawrence Tetteh at the Accra Sports Stadium.

He advised the young boxers to take very good care of themselves and not indulge in social vices that can hinder their progress.

He said God has plans for everyone and as sports people, the young boxers are specially chosen to represent Ghana in the future and through them other lives can change.

He revealed his love for boxing, and his experience as an amateur boxer in the 1970s, but he was cut to become a champion boxer, so he took to education and later became a pastor.

Rev. Tetteh promised to secure scholarships in Hungary for the boxers and coaches.

He said there is value in everyone and it must be developed by being honest, obedient and passionate to succeed by holding on to Jesus Christ.

He prayed for the boxers and coaches including world title aspirant, Jessie Manyo Plange who is scheduled to fight for the world title in July.
