Everything is for a time and a season, today Justin Gatlin's time on the track has come to an end. A sport that has given and taken so much, Gatlin walks away as a 5-time Olympic and 12-time World Championship medalist and the 5th fastest man ever in 100m (9.74) and 6th fastest over 200m (19.57).
Gatlin won the diamond league trophy for three consecutive years 2013, 2014 and 2015. He won Gold at the Athens Olympics in 2004 over 100m, Double gold in Helsinki, 2005 over 100 and 200m, before he defeated sprint legend Usain Bolt in London, 2017 to take his 4th and final individual gold.
